2018 Professional Programs Preview
It's time to begin thinking about your professional goals for 2018. If you're looking to strengthen skills to better perform in your field, ISD has an impressive offering of classes designed to sharpen your competitive edge. We have released our 2018 Professional Program dates, and enrollment is now open.
ISD's professional development programs focus on three key areas: operational excellence, leadership, and engineering. Operational excellence and leadership courses include opportunities to earn lean certificates and Six Sigma certifications, ranging from Green Belt to Master Black Belt. Additional ISD programs train professionals to utilize lean methods in healthcare, manufacturing, product development, and office and service. Upon completion of an ISD Professional Program, an individual is prepared to tackle challenges in the workplace more effectively and efficiently.
In addition to leadership and operational excellence education, ISD offers engineering-related short courses. Because engineering is an incredibly dynamic field, new ideas and technologies are frequently emerging. ISD's engineering-related courses allow participants to explore theories and practices in battery manufacturing, connected and automated vehicles, dynamics of heavy duty trucks, human factors engineering, and hybrid and electric vehicles. These courses allow working professionals to stay abreast of new ideas and technologies and to refresh core principles.
