ISD Student Awards: Currently Accepting Nominations

ISD is proud to announce the first-ever Outstanding ISD Capstone Project Award and ISD Leadership Award for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Nominations are currently being accepted for each of these awards until Thursday, April 20.

Outstanding ISD Capstone Project Award

This award will go to an ISD student or ISD student team whose project best demonstrates outstanding impact, excellent contributions to practice, exemplary deployment of classroom material in an industrial application, high quality of the project work, and great potential value-added benefits to the sponsor.

All ISD students who completed their ISD capstone or practicum project between April 21, 2016 and April 20, 2017 are eligible. Students may self-nominate.

ISD Leadership Award for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
This award is presented to an ISD student or team of students who promote and embody the spirit and ideas of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Recipients will have participated in or led efforts that celebrate and contribute to awareness of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the ISD community; created new conversations that led to a wider understanding of diverse cultures; and demonstrated that social change is possible through persistent hard work.

Anyone who was a current ISD student at the time of their contribution is eligible. Students may self-nominate.
