  • Description of Research: My research focuses on coordination processes used during the design of large scale and complex engineered systems. My objective is to improve the understanding of the relationship between interactions among design groups and the interactions among the system elements those groups design. These coordination processes depend on a number of factors within the organization, engineering process, and product architecture. A deeper understanding of this relationship, the factors that influence it, and their combined impacts on system performance, can improve the process of systems integration during the design of these large and complex systems.
