  • Description of Research: Meira's research is on the design of conversational services like voice assistants. The objective is to understand the performance of these dynamic products across domains and situations to better inform practitioners' strategy during the design process. Other research interests include decision making on design teams and interdisciplinary design teams. Meira has conducted research in decision-making on engineering design teams and is currently conducting research on students learning about design through practice.
