ISD 599-002A Software Systems Engineering

Course Description

This course will focus on the process for software development of a large, complex software system for a cognitively and/or physically impaired audience. Pragmatic aspects of the production of software systems, dealing with structuring principles, design methodologies and formal and informal analysis. Significant amount of project documentation is required. Team-based projects are required.

Research Investigator and Lecturer IV in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

Dr. Chesney's research interests include software engineering, object oriented methodologies, unified modeling language, socially relevant computing, and assistive technology. He earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science, a Master of Science in Computer Science, and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, all from Michigan State University.
