Master's Degrees
Pursue a master’s degree in one of our six premier interdisciplinary graduate programs, online or on campus.
ISD’s Doctor of Engineering (DEng) program develops technical leaders in the manufacturing arena who have depth in their own engineering disciplines, breadth across engineering disciplines, breadth beyond engineering, the ability to lead project teams, and the skills to carry out high quality engineering research and development.
Undergraduates at the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering can save time and money, and accelerate the start of a career. By double-counting and transferring courses, it is possible to finish an ISD Master of Engineering degree in just one year
Students who have a unique learning need might find the right fit with ISD’s Non-Candidate for Degree (NCFD) status. Credit earned from these courses may be used toward other degrees at U-M as well as other institutions.
Dual Master of Engineering in Manufacturing and Master of Business Administration
Pursue concurrent work in manufacturing engineering and business administration that leads to both a Master of Engineering in Manufacturing (MEM) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
This program is designed for students who receive an undergraduate BSE degree from UM–Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s Joint Institute (JI SJTU) and wish to pursue an Integrative Systems + Design (ISD) Engineering Master’s degree at U-M.
