Suljo Linic Awarded 2014 ACS Catalysis Lectureship

Suljo Linic, Program Director for ISD’s Energy Systems Engineering degree and Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering, has won the American Chemical Society (ACS) 2014 Catalysis Lectureship for the Advancement of Catalytic Science.

Prof. Linic joined the University of Michigan in 2004 after receiving his PhD from the University of Delaware in 2003. His research group at Linic Lab works to develop predictive theories of surface chemistry related to heterogeneous catalysis, electro-catalysis and, photo-electro-catalysis. They are currently working on a number of projects that aim to address various issues in the fields of energy and environment, functional nanomaterials, and fundamental heterogeneous catalysis.
