Systems Engineering + Design Celebrates Inaugural Honor Society Student Induction

It is with great pleasure that the Systems Engineering + Design program announces the establishment of the Sigma Theta Mu Honor Society at the University of Michigan (U-M).  A ceremony commemorating the first class of inductees took place on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at the SI-North Building on the U-M North Campus.  Michael Vinarcik, President of INCOSE; Robert Bordley, Systems Engingeering + Design Program Director; and Bogdan Epureanu, ISD Interim Associate Chair, all presided over the event.

Sigma Theta Mu recognizes high scholastic, scientific, and professional attainment in the study and practice of systems, systems-related engineering, or systems engineering. We are honored to be one of the inaugural chapters of this society and to work with students who have achieved this accomplishment.

Systems Engineering + Design is a degree program within Integrative Systems + Design, a division of the U-M College of Engineering. Launched in 2014, Systems Engineering + Design is now available online as well as on campus.
