Global Automotive and Manufacturing Engineering

Our Global Automotive and Manufacturing Engineering Master’s Program Is at the Forefront of Technologies That Move the World

The GAME program is a model for a master’s education in engineering. The curriculum matches the new business realities of the global automotive industry where automotive parts might be designed in several places, manufactured in yet another, welded in a car somewhere else before the assembled vehicle is sold in many different countries. It offers global content, integrates core elements of both automotive design and manufacturing, and provides students with an opportunity to develop depth in an engineering specialty as well as breadth in manufacturing and knowledge of basic management. The program was designed to increase cultural understanding resulting in the creation of products that are globalized where appropriate and localized as needed.

This degree can be completed fully online from almost anywhere in the world, or on-campus here in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Why Global Automotive and Manufacturing Engineering?

This program combines a strong background of product development and production, with a clear understanding of how to work with virtual global teams and deal with global production processes by integrating core elements of global automotive design, manufacturing and supply chains.
