Labs and Facilities

Work with the Most Advanced Technologies in Our Labs

ISD students have access to state of the art labs both inside our labs and facilities as well as across Michigan Engineering and the University.

Additive Manufacturing Lab

The Additive Manufacturing lab allows students to live and experience the additive manufacturing (AM) process. With access to the many different modalities of AM, students will experience processes developed directly with industry partners to gain unparalleled hands-on experience. The lab itself is the product of collaboration between experts from a range of engineering disciplines, bringing together the most important aspects of additive manufacturing for a wholly unique lab experience.
